You can help restore dignity and hope to people just like this and change their life forever with a house of furniture.

Public and private donations make their new house a home, where children and mothers feel welcome, safe

and where the family that has fallen on hard times can feel like the world has not abandoned them.

ABOUT US

Imagine the homeless family who are trying to better their lives, or the mother who had to flee with her children

from an unsafe situation with only the clothes on their backs. They are the lucky ones who find housing,

but enter a home that has no furniture.  Nothing.  Not even a bed for their children.

Our Mission Statement:

The HopeChest was established to help those in Western Washington secure a stable life, by providing basic comforts that change a house into a home.  Throughout its history, the non-profit, non sectarian organization has restored dignity to countless women, men, children, and disabled Veteran's. We obtain new, gently used or like-new furniture and household items for those in need in our community that have little or nothing of their own.
